Nine tips in one video

This last video collects nine tips for everyday use. It builds on the earlier tutorials, so it helps to watch How to dictate, AI editing, AI writing and Voice shortcuts first.

The nine tips

1. Hold to talk. Press and hold while you speak. See How to dictate.
2. Emojis with AI. Describe any emoji and let the AI pick it.
3. Stack commands. Chain commands together instead of doing them one at a time.
4. Precise edits. Target a specific change instead of rewriting everything.
5. Answer questions. The AI can answer a question, not just write text.
6. Edit a highlight. Work on a highlighted part of your text.
7. Multi-line shortcuts. A voice shortcut can expand to several lines, such as a signature. See Voice shortcuts.
8. The "insert" trick. Say "insert" followed by a shortcut, like "insert my home address".
9. Fix misspellings. The video ends with correcting a name heard as "Kaitlyn" to "Caitlin".
